Davidoff presents Puro Dominicano as a Black Band line with three formats: Short Robusto, Corona Larga and Perfecto. The manufacturer’s line-up identifies all three together. Davidoff’s family infographic lists Dominican Republic as the origin for wrapper, binder and filler; it does not supply measurements for each named format. The name gives Puro Dominicano its own place within Black Band rather than making it another name for Yamasá. Its three formats should be compared within that family before moving to similarly named cigars elsewhere in Davidoff. Perfecto is also a shape word used in other families, and Robusto appears throughout the range. Neither word by itself identifies a Puro Dominicano cigar.
